From Max's Owner...
"The car ride was long but he did great, very good nerves. He is settling in and becoming very confident. I have found out that he is very possessive over the pigs ears and for only being a small puppy he thinks he is the BOSS. I like hard strong dogs and he is meeting all of my expectations. We are already tracking and he is a natural and very focused for his age .
"Max, what a puppy!! I have trained and worked with hard dogs all my life but this is the first puppy that bounces back from almost anything. And he bites everything. I have tried to let him bite because I know it is just teething, but his grip is so hard I come in from the kennel almost bleeding. I took him to the vet last Saturday and he was 18 lbs. "
"Hi, Max is doing great! I took him for his first grooming experience a couple of days ago and it had no affect on him at all. I do a little tug work with his basic imprinting daily and he does every thing I ask. It is very tempting to move along at a faster pace but I know from experience I must wait. I have also tracked several times and with out a doubt it will only take around a month of good tracking to be ready for a SCH 1. He is 100% natural. He is still a very happy and social pup with about 6 more months until we really start his formal hard core training. So for now he is spoiled and thinks there are only good things in the world."
